Purato

Purato is Sicilian through and through, showing huge respect for the land and a great love of the island.

Conditions for growing vines simply could not be better: the hot Sicilian sun, the cool sea breezes that mitigate the heat, the fertile soil which is rich in minerals and nutrients. The Terra Rossa consists of a layer of light red, sandy loam on a limestone base, which is good at retaining water. These factors all combine to bring the grapes to the perfect levels of ripeness and concentration.
