Odulìn Friulano is from Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region in north-east Italy. Known for its incredible white wines.
100% Friulano
The grapes are harvested at the beginning of September.
The grapes are harvested by hand and treated with great care. After gentle destemming, they are softly pressed. At this point, the must undergoes cold static sedimentation for 24 - 48 hours before being racked off for fermentation. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of between 17 and 19 degrees for approximately 10-12 days. After fermentation the wine is racked off for maturation sur lies, a part of the blend is also aged in barriques for about 4 months.
A gold, straw colour, Odulìn Friulano offers a prominent and complex bouquet with hints of Mediterranean heathland, combined with wild rose, orange blossom, and tropical fruit. An elegant palate, with a soft finish and distinct spicy notes with citrus, peach, and apricot.
Serve at between 10 and 12 degrees. Ideal with delicate meats and seafood dishes.
